De mural is daarmee niet alleen een ode aan vier generaties rozenkwekers, maar ook aan durf, ondernemerschap en vertrouwen in de toekomst.Voor eigenaar Wim Scheers was het project bovendien een manier om iets terug te geven aan de buurt door kleur en schoonheid toe te voegen aan het straatbeeld. Covering an area of ​​approximately 600 square meters, the artwork forms a new landmark along the Keizershoek, where visitors from afar are welcomed by a gigantic image of the iconic Jumilia rose.Central to the mural is the two-colored Jumilia, a rose variety that, thanks to the vision of the previous generation of Scheers, grew into one of the nursery's absolute top sellers. While there were initial doubts about the success of the striking flower on the Belgian market, it grew into one of the family business's most beloved roses. The mural is therefore not only an ode to four generations of rose growers, but also to daring, entrepreneurship, and confidence in the future.For owner Wim Scheers, the project was also a way to give something back to the neighborhood by adding color and beauty to the streetscape.
