He was the community bush plumper who once owned the building that it’s painted on. The Building itself has a strong history in Gulargambone. The building was build in the 20’s and was a picture theatre at one time. It eventually housed Peter’s plumbing business for 30 years. He called it ‘Simmo’s Bazaar’.When the community decided to set up a cultural / tourism hotspot for the town, Peter offered the hall for a very small token sum. He loved his town and wanted to see it flourish.","author_name":"Annette Green","author_url":"https://streetartcities.com/users/4e8307bc-1993-4262-99da-a37e98cb5f05","thumbnail_url":"https://streetartcities.com/media/0/065dfa3a-3f6d-4e6e-9df8-2c9d0cd71876/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://streetartcities.com/markers/16984/embed\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" style=\"border:none;border-radius:12px;max-width:100%;\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"fullscreen; storage-access\" title=\"Peter ‘Leaky’ Simpson by Claire Foxton\"></iframe>","cache_age":3600}
