For all three, a combination of an animal and an edible plant or fruit that symbolizes the area was sought. A reindeer and blueberries for the north, a badger and apples for Central Europe and olives and a turtle for the south. Thijs Persijn and Liesbeth Verhoeven formed the drawing collective Teckeltekent.nl (that I'm not quite sure still exists). Together with housing consultant Gwen Hofland and a student they supervised this neighborhood initiative. With these murals WonenBreburg shows that it does more than just renting out houses: a nice, beautiful neighborhood promotes living together. The murals are an example of a wonderful neighbourhood collaboration.","author_name":"Rian Nijssen","author_url":"https://streetartcities.com/users/5b05b81b-4acd-4ff5-99ea-86c884a4745d","thumbnail_url":"https://streetartcities.com/media/f/f19cebc5-79d3-45c8-aaf4-4aacafe56f8d/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://streetartcities.com/markers/36419/embed\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" style=\"border:none;border-radius:12px;max-width:100%;\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"fullscreen; storage-access\" title=\"Untitled by Tekencollectief TecKel\"></iframe>","cache_age":3600}
