It’s hard to describe what it feels like to be in deep grief while stepping into a space meant for creativity and connection. But instead of holding it all in, I decided to pour that pain into my work.This piece is for her. I used all the colors she was to me; bright, warm, bold, soft. She was every shade of love and strength I’ve ever known. I painted many birds, each one looking upwards toward the sky. They carry my sorrow, but also my hope. They’re symbols of her spirit; free, eternal, always in motion.Through every spraycan stroke, I held her close. This is how I mourn, and this is how I heal.The piece now has a place in Fushë-Arrës, and I was deeply moved by the response. People said it brought them joy, that it was vibrant and full of happiness. I never expected my grief to have such a bright reflection. But art has a way of transforming, doesn't it?","thumbnail_url":"https://streetart.media/f/ff911215-d68b-41d5-b648-685037b01141/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://streetartcities.com/markers/38782702-54e6-4c00-afe0-b4df6bbbab7e/embed\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" style=\"border:none;border-radius:12px;max-width:100%;\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"fullscreen; storage-access\" title=\"Skyward love by ELF\"></iframe>","cache_age":3600}
