I didn't want to represent a world under the sea, because the story of Lelystad takes place ABOVE the sea.So here is my main character with a sailor suit, a giant buoy and small references to the Netherlands (clogs, braids, tulip tattoo). And of course the Delft blue, which is emblematic of the country, and has been a predominant theme in my work since years. It was a great opportunity to paint a wall in the Netherlands with this subject. I like to represent my characters with scratches and scars, broken like porcelain. I also made a reference to the lion/fish from the coat of arms. And also a silly cow with some goudas!","thumbnail_url":"https://streetart.media/f/fbc3b80d-d030-41e3-92fb-34ba6b1d5f0f/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://streetartcities.com/markers/418912ed-46c6-48a9-ab59-505f692ee90e/embed\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" style=\"border:none;border-radius:12px;max-width:100%;\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"fullscreen; storage-access\" title=\"Lelystad by Williann\"></iframe>","cache_age":3600}
