His intervention took place during the Festival Cultuletras 2025The Perro Paco can be considered the \"First Influencer\" of Madrid, he had his own biography written, a polka song composed in his honor, and his name was even used to market local goods like white wine, ties, and walking sticks.The Perro Paco was a legendary stray dog who became a real celebrity during late 19th century. He used to wander into the luxurious Café de Fornos, caught the eye of a certain Marquis, who fed him regularly and named him Paco. Paco became such a celebrity that he spent his days frequenting cafes, theaters, bullfights and other events where the High Society of the time gathered.Paco loved attending bullfights, he would slip into the Plaza de Toros to playfully bark and tease the bulls. On June 21, 1882, during a bullfight, Paco tripped up a clumsy matador who stabbed the beloved dog to death, sparking massive public outrage throughout the city.This beautiful street art painting portrays Paco exactly as the human-like, upper-class bohemian character he came to represent in the public imagination.The artist blends realistic animal anatomy with human fashion, portraying a dog with highly detailed facial features dressed in formal 19th-century attire.The Visible spray paint techniques, soft gradients, and underlying tags in the background anchor the piece in contemporary urban art .","author_name":"Enwanderland","author_url":"https://streetartcities.com/users/b1089150-69f2-4a37-a8f9-e8928dece387","thumbnail_url":"https://streetartcities.com/media/b/b5249914-0fe8-49c6-bbda-875aa036ad00/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"","cache_age":3600}
