At the center, a scene depicting Roman streets and citizens serves as a reminder that the Empire was not only about military glory but also about daily life, culture, and community.This mural is a tribute to history and the people of Canteras, blending contemporary art with the city’s Roman past. A fusion of creativity and history that keeps Cartagena’s identity alive through time.The title, “K-ArtHago Nova: Ars, Populus et Imperium”, plays with Cartagena’s Roman name, Carthago Nova, integrating art and the artist’s identity: “K” for Kato, his artistic name; “Art” as a symbol of creativity; and “Hago” (Spanish for “I do” or “I create”), reflecting the act of making art. In this way, art becomes a bridge between history, the people, and the legacy of the Empire.-The mural was created in March.-During the Cantera festivities in May, a fire broke out near the mural, which was partially damaged and ruined by the flames.-At the end of November, the artist returned to Canteras to restore the mural to its original condition.Técnica: SprayOrganiza: Servicio de Graffiti y Street Art de la Concejalía de Juventud del Ayuntamiento de CartagenaDescripción:Ubicado en el pabellón de deportes de Canteras, este mural de 50x6 metros rinde homenaje a la grandeza de Carthago Nova, la actual Cartagena, y su herencia romana.
