The matchstick is Padre Puglisi, who lit a fire which is still burning. When I finished painting this large mural I asked Nino to add the acronym INRI on top, as in a crucifixion, to convey the idea of sacrifice, the one Padre Puglisi made. They extinguished his flame, but the fire had already flared up!Photo © Sandro Scalia LINK","thumbnail_url":"https://streetart.media/3/3153fd45-4b2c-4ec1-95d7-38364e136762/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://streetartcities.com/markers/5446fc05-0a46-4989-acd9-bf1523b39a16/embed\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" style=\"border:none;border-radius:12px;max-width:100%;\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"fullscreen; storage-access\" title=\"BURNING BUSH – BRANCACCIO NEIGHBOURHOOD, PALERMO 2021 by Igor Scalisi Palminteri\"></iframe>","cache_age":3600}
