Ute-Christine Berger, the City’s Cultural Affairs Officer, commissioned local designer Tobias Bauer to create an original artwork for this special occasion—and we believe he has succeeded brilliantly. The delegation from Épinal was certainly delighted when they visited the mural on 24 August 2024. Tobias Bauer was assisted by Philipp Volke and Luis Bauer. An official inauguration ceremony took place on Wednesday, 4 September 2024, featuring French-inspired music by the ORTE Collective, along with refreshments.
