His work moves away from traditional letter-based graffiti (such as tags or wildstyle) to focus on creating characters and dynamic visual narratives.The following points analyze how this piece connects to the artist's signature style:Cartoon Style / Pop Illustration: The mural is heavily influenced by the aesthetics of classic cartoons, comic books, and lowbrow illustration. The figures feature rubber-hose limbs, expressive eyes, and exaggerated outlines reminiscent of early-to-mid-20th-century animation, yet brought to the street wall with a contemporary approach.Bold, Fluid Outlines: One of RBN’s most recognizable technical signatures is the use of clean, thick black outlines that sharply define the figures. This solid line not only establishes the characters' volume against the rough concrete surface but also lends them immense graphic impact, making them easily readable from a distance.High-Contrast Color Palette: The artist typically uses flat blocks of color or very subtle gradients within his figures. In this piece, the yellowish and pink tones of the bodies contrast sharply with an energetic background of blue and purple flashes, making the figures stand out against the bare wall's grayish backdrop.The \"Alter Ego\" and Physical Narrative: The character on the right—with its signature exposed teeth and wild, wide-eyed stare—belongs to the universe of recurring alter egos that the artist frequently depicts in both solo projects and collaborations with prominent local urban art collectives, such as La Banda del Rotu. These characters are never static; they physically interact with one another, conveying dynamism, tension, or sheer fun through body movement.Este mural es un reflejo fiel de la identidad visual de RBN Kunst, un artista fundamental en el panorama del arte urbano madrileño. Su trabajo se caracteriza por alejarse del graffiti tradicional basado puramente en letras (tags o wildstyle) para centrarse en la creación de personajes y narrativas visuales dinámicas. A continuación se analizan los puntos clave que conectan esta obra con el sello artístico del autor:Estilo Cartoon / Ilustración Pop: El mural está fuertemente influenciado por la estética de los dibujos animados clásicos, el cómic y la ilustración lowbrow. Las figuras poseen extremidades elásticas, ojos expresivos y contornos exagerados que recuerdan a la animación de principios y mediados del siglo XX, pero traída al muro callejero con un enfoque contemporáneo.Línea de contorno gruesa y fluida: Una de las firmas técnicas más reconocidas de RBN es el uso de trazos exteriores muy limpios, negros y gruesos que delimitan perfectamente las figuras. Esta línea sólida no solo define el volumen de los personajes sobre la rugosidad del hormigón, sino que les aporta una enorme fuerza gráfica que facilita su lectura desde la distancia.Paleta de color contrastada: El artista suele emplear masas de color planas o con degradados muy sutiles dentro de sus figuras. En esta obra, los tonos amarillentos y rosados de los cuerpos contrastan directamente con un fondo enérgico de destellos azules y púrpuras, recortando las figuras del entorno grisáceo de la pared desnuda.El \"Alter Ego\" y la narrativa física: El personaje de la derecha, con su característica dentadura expuesta y mirada desencajada, forma parte del universo de alter egos recurrentes que el autor plasma de manera continua en sus intervenciones individuales y junto a colectivos urbanos destacados de la capital, como La Banda del Rotu. Los personajes no están estáticos; interactúan físicamente entre sí transmitiendo dinamismo, tensión o diversión pura a través del movimiento corporal.","author_name":"Julian GD","author_url":"https://streetartcities.com/users/f2ecd9af-e061-490a-9d24-d2feec7622d4","thumbnail_url":"https://streetartcities.com/media/a/ad6f1da7-4639-47f8-b267-ba2a74260280/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"","cache_age":3600}
