Een symbool voor de verwondering van de kindertijd en de herinneringen die, hoe oud we ook worden, altijd bij ons blijven.Een muur over kinderlijke verwondering, herinneringen en de magie van zorgeloos spelen.________________________________________________________________________________________One of my most personal works and my first major solo mural: a 20-metre-long wall at the De Roerdomp sheltered housing complex in Ham.The work depicts a child playing carefree in the woods with a wooden kite. On the other side, a grandfather watches from the window. The image takes him back to his own childhood — to a time when playing, discovering and dreaming were at the heart of everything.The forest refers to the nearby De Roerdomp nature reserve, whilst the dragonfly weaves a subtle thread of magic through the work.
