Powered by Rebobinart.NOU is a project structured around different artistic disciplines that makes Barcelona and its residents stand out. A melting pot in Nou Barris where creativity gives shape to shared stories, redefining the space by giving it a new urban meaning.This work by Udane Juaristi pays tribute to the women who built Trinitat Nova, with special mention to Matilde Climent, a social worker who led community initiatives and neighborhood struggles in the 1960s and 1970s. The work celebrates the transformative role and empowerment of women in the neighborhood, showing a central figure representing all the women of the community, past and present. Her serene and satisfied face symbolizes the strength and well-being achieved through collective solidarity. At the bottom, the presence of protesting women and blooming flowers evokes the growth of a neighborhood that was born out of female commitment and perseverance.","author_name":"Tiny Tim","author_url":"https://streetartcities.com/users/66e9e48e-8d4c-4e20-9d6e-c86f5e9142ba","thumbnail_url":"https://streetartcities.com/media/7/7211706f-bda3-481e-88f1-d4d8b718462c/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://streetartcities.com/markers/acd789d5-b81b-4c26-87ef-f02a70cacb47/embed\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" style=\"border:none;border-radius:12px;max-width:100%;\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"fullscreen; storage-access\" title=\"Les dones de la Trinitat by Udatxo\"></iframe>","cache_age":3600}
