On the left, a chameleon is perched on a branch, while a toucan with a striking orange beak stands on the right. Between the two animals, a large turquoise piece of writing dominates the composition. It spells “Sportone”, the artist name used by Cagdas Saso. The work was created in 2020 as part of the redevelopment of the station under the name “Meeting of Styles”. Numerous graffiti and street-art artists transformed the previously rather functional surfaces of the pedestrian underpass into a large-scale open-air gallery. The project was organised by the Wiesbaden-based artist collective Buntic Media, while Deutsche Bahn and the Zweckverband Schienenpersonennahverkehr Rheinland-Pfalz Süd jointly sought ways to improve the atmosphere and overall experience at the station.Cagdas Saso is also active under the names SportOne and GRAFFITI ART C.SASO. Daniel Ferino is also a professional graffiti artist, known particularly for highly detailed and realistic imagery.","author_name":"The Heck With It!","author_url":"https://streetartcities.com/users/78388358-e8b3-408f-ba18-d3453c1a15f5","thumbnail_url":"https://streetartcities.com/media/e/eed58843-ce3f-4cbf-b398-669b47460e53/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://streetartcities.com/markers/ad7bc9a8-54d7-4962-8429-12e595889638/embed\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" style=\"border:none;border-radius:12px;max-width:100%;\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"fullscreen; storage-access\" title=\"Artwork by Daniel Ferino, SportOne\"></iframe>","cache_age":3600}
