It was probably created as part of the “Meeting of Styles” 2020, during which the underpass was enhanced with large-scale murals. Two chipmunks can be seen, both holding a spray can. However, the central motif is a chipmunk that strongly resembles Theodore Seville from the series “Alvin and the Chipmunks.” Initiated by Deutsche Bahn, a collective of 25 artists from the region and from across half of Europe designed the extensive underpass complex at Ludwigshafen Central Station. Under the motto “Meeting of Styles,” the artists transformed numerous monotonous surfaces into a vibrant gallery through the power of color, in around 2,000 working hours, using about 400 liters of wall paint and 1,000 spray cans.","author_name":"The Heck With It!","author_url":"https://streetartcities.com/users/78388358-e8b3-408f-ba18-d3453c1a15f5","thumbnail_url":"https://streetartcities.com/media/6/6babf737-5767-43a2-bdfb-a668b9bac750/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://streetartcities.com/markers/b24fd1cd-e6e9-41d2-846d-0e66928222e3/embed\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" style=\"border:none;border-radius:12px;max-width:100%;\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"fullscreen; storage-access\" title=\"Artwork by Unknown - Ludwigshafen\"></iframe>","cache_age":3600}
