The underpass was transformed into a vibrant open-air gallery in August 2022.The project was initiated and curated by Klaus Rosskothen, the owner of the nearby street art gallery Pretty Portal. It features massive, striking murals created by 10 different contemporary urban art artists. The artworks showcase an incredible stylistic range — from classic graffiti and stencils to abstract geometric patterns. Many of the murals touch on current socio-political themes, such as the prominent piece by artist L.E.T. (Les Enfants Terribles), which depicts a young refugee girl with the text \"For the brave and displaced.\"","author_name":"Andrea Ranke (streetartwalks)","author_url":"https://streetartcities.com/users/51f372c8-94ee-4e71-9262-bc43e92d4dc4","thumbnail_url":"https://streetartcities.com/media/4/41150dc5-923b-40d6-9047-9cc6543e968d/1024.jpg","thumbnail_width":1024,"width":480,"height":480,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://streetartcities.com/markers/c24ea8a5-6642-468d-a012-77e438ffc011/embed\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" style=\"border:none;border-radius:12px;max-width:100%;\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"fullscreen; storage-access\" title=\"Pretty Wall Bilk\"></iframe>","cache_age":3600}
