Hij verdeelt zijn tijd tussen Barcelona en Mexico-Stad.Het werk van Font vindt zijn oorsprong in de verkenning van de plaatsen die hij bezoekt, waar hij op zoek gaat naar elementen die verband houden met de kleinschalige flora en fauna die in alle uithoeken van de wereld te vinden is. Deze organismen blijven vaak onopgemerkt, ondanks hun nauwe band met de menselijke gemeenschappen die naast hen leven.Via deze verbinding, en met behulp van monochrome kleurenpaletten, transformeert Font deze minuscule levende wezens – die deel uitmaken van lokale ecosystemen – tot monumentale figuren en plaatst hij ze recht voor de toeschouwer om een dialoog tot stand te brengen. He divides his time between Barcelona and Mexico City.Font’s work stems from his exploration of the places he visits, where he seeks out elements linked to the small-scale flora and fauna found in every corner of the world. These organisms often go unnoticed, despite their close connection to the human communities living alongside them.Through this connection, and using monochrome colour palettes, Font transforms these minuscule living creatures – which form part of local ecosystems – into monumental figures and places them directly before the viewer to establish a dialogue.
