Appartment block Dreilindenstraße 70 by Gabor Doleviczenyi, Bastardilla

The 17 goals of sustainable development of the United Nations have been enforced in January 2016. Urban art campaign „Weltbaustellen – Die Welt von morgen wächst vor Ort“ deals with those goals. 17 goals – 17 murals in North Rhine Westfalia. 8 different cities have got new designed facades in 2016; 9 murals have been designed in 2017. A starry night sky is the background for a bar owl which is a symbol for wisdom and protection as well. It has caught a mouse whith a strange body: it has a set of stabilizers like a ballistic missile, undoubtedly a danger for the population at the ground. The owl has that strange mouse firmly in its grasp and grants a free way to a colony of leafcutter ants to collect feed comprising of cutted pieces of newspapers and other literature for their underground nest.
