Bruinkoolweg

This once was a cross point in the mine history of Heerlen / Parkstad, but right now it is more a meeting point for youth and graffiti enthousiasts. For example DazeTwo and fobeliks did some 'painting' here. ;)Where nowadays the 'Parkstadroute' cycling path is situated there once ran a mine train between the ON III and the ON IV mines. In between, right at this cross point, there also was a brown cole mine called 'Groeve Blankevoort'. That's why this road is called 'Bruinkoolweg'.Nowadays the brown cole mine is a fishing pond of HSV Heksenberg.
