The Town That Moved by Kirrily Anderson

Tallangatta, a town in Victoria's High Country, is famously known as "the town that moved" because it was physically relocated in the 1950s to allow for the expansion of Lake Hume. The original Tallangatta was moved 8 kilometers (5 miles) to the west to a site known as Bolga. This relocation was necessary to accommodate the increased water level of Lake Hume after the Hume Weir was built. Painted in 2020.
