1.0 rich Street Art Cities https://streetartcities.com Tijdens het weekend van 11 en 12 juli 2026 vond de tweede editie van het Nashtival plaats. Tijdens het Nashtival wordt het overlijden van 'Limburger King' Nash, de artiestennaam van Werner Zwakhalzen, herdacht. Vele graffitiartiesten tekenden weer present om bij wijze van muurschilderingen eer te betonen aan hun overleden vriend. Het festival vond plaats rondom jeugdhuis Fuego, het hoofdkwartier van de Love Letters crew en de plaats waar de uitvaartdienst van Nash plaatsvond. Tijdens het Nastival 2026 werd in Fuego ook het boek 'Master of Puppets' over Nash voorgesteld.Deze muurschildering werd gemaakt door de Petados Crew: Mateo Lara, Rezm, Albert Castro, Urih en Borjah Sanchez.De Spaanse Petados Crew is afkomstig uit Barcelona. Hun stijl combineert graffitiletters met grootschalige muurschilderingen. Een van de oprichters en het bekendste publieke gezicht van de crew is Mateo Lara, die ook gebruik maakt van de artiestennaam Ma'La. Hij vertegenwoordigt de groep al sinds eind jaren negentig, begin jaren 2000 en was later medeoprichter van Pintura Mural Barcelona.Tijdens Nashtival 2025 maakte de Pintados Crew ook een muurschildering aan Fuego. Pintura Mural Barcelona maakte in 2024 ook al een mural voor de Burners Ball 2 graffiti jam.Je kan alle werken voor 'Nashtival 2026' hier bekijken. The Nashtival commemorates the death of ‘Limburger King’ Nash, the artist name of Werner Zwakhalzen. Many graffiti artists turned up to pay tribute to their late friend through murals. The festival took place once again around the Fuego youth centre, the headquarters of the Love Letters crew and the venue for Nash’s funeral service. During Nastival 2026, the book 'Master of Puppets', about Nash, was also launched at Fuego.The Spanish Petados Crew hails from Barcelona. Their style combines graffiti lettering with large-scale murals. One of the founders and the crew’s best-known public figure is Mateo Lara, who also goes by the artist name Ma’La. He has represented the group since the late 1990s and early 2000s and later co-founded Pintura Mural Barcelona.During Nashtival 2025, the Pintados Crew also created a mural at Fuego.
