Love in Our Hearts with a Black Cockatoo by Rebecca Lourey

Created in collaboration with residents Deb and Paul, this work reflects their connection to the Australian land, love of nature, music and culture. The musical notation is a trumpet solo written by Paul in collaboration with lyricist Angie Paice, in a song called Water the Seed. It's about the strength and magic of love and how love is like a seed that grows as we care for each other. Love gets into our hearts, our lives and even in our shoes. It's inescapable.
