Peinture au cordeau traceur by eltono, MOMO

For their collaboration, the artists Eltono & Momo decided to adapt the principle of the chalk line for use with paint to create very large, straight, permanent lines on buildings. For Chalkline Painting, a tool was created to wrap a rope in fresh paint and stretch the rope with a 20-foot pole. With this tool, two operators (here the artists Eltono & Momo), are able to create painted lines at any angle; the only constraint being that the lines must start from the ground. Some combinations of these lines look like a typography. Project created within the scope of the “2nd Bien Urbain Festival edition”.
