wOdin by John VOIR

John Voir is a clever artist. He's produced a mural after the towns namesake; Wodin/Wadyan. Though there seems to be some confusion as to where the word Woden has originated. One explanation states the town was named after a 1837 homestead which was named after the Norse God of Wisdom, Woden. However a conflicting theory considers the town may be named after the Aboriginal word for possum, being wadyan or wadhan. Either way, Voir has everything covered with this mural of Odin/Woden with possums on each side.
