  <title>Phyto-Futures by Rocket01</title>
The mural is painted on the façade of the Sint-Martinuscollege as part of the European Commission’s #EuropeStreetArt initiative. The artwork brings together two worlds that, at first glance, seem far apart. The grapes pay homage to the 'Grape Region' (Druivenstreek)—an area whose identity has long been defined by viticulture—while the astronaut represents exploration, curiosity, and the enduring human drive to discover what lies ahead. By combining these symbols, Rocket01 invites the viewer to reflect on how lessons from the past can contribute to a more sustainable future.Rocket01 is known for his science-fiction-inspired murals, which frequently depict an optimistic vision of the future rather than a dystopian scenario. In 'Phyto-Futures', technology does not replace nature; instead, it exists in harmony with it. The twelve stars of the European Union appear on the astronaut’s spacesuit, underscoring the work’s core message: shared responsibility, cooperation, and care for our environment.</description>
