1.0 rich Street Art Cities https://streetartcities.com A significant part of this mural, particularly the central section, is dedicated to Teresa Curià, who has spent many years sharing the story of her father, Enric Curià, who died in Mauthausen, as did many of the deportees whose stories the students explored.Teresa's commitment to connecting generations by passing this history on to students in schools is a powerful reminder of the importance of keeping memory alive. Her story, her words, and her text "Remembering My Father" deeply inspired the artist and became central to the mural's concept, symbolising the transmission of memory and history from one generation to the next.Following the completion of the mural, an inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of more than 800 students, with the participation of the Mayor of Lleida, Félix Larrosa, MEP Jaume Asens, and Jordi Font, Director of the Memorial Democràtic.The mural was created over a period of ten days, despite challenging weather conditions, including rain. It stands as a tribute to those who suffered and as a reminder to future generations of the importance of preserving historical memory, respect, and remembrance.
