  <title>"Sinn"volle Laternen by Unknown - Hamm</title>
<description>The public art project featuring text-inscribed lampposts in Hamm is called “„Sinn“volle Laternen” (a German wordplay meaning "Meaningful Lampposts" or "Sensible Lanterns"). It is located right in the heart of the Martin-Luther-Viertel (Martin Luther Quarter). Initiated in 2009, around 100 lampposts and street light poles throughout the quarter were wrapped in special weather-resistant vinyl wraps. They are inscribed with aphorisms, philosophical quotes, wisdoms, and literary citations. They are designed to catch the eyes of pedestrians and make them pause and reflect while walking down the street.</description>
