I sought to capture the powerful, instinctive connection between mother and child that science tells us exists—even what a mother feels and consumes impacts her child. This connection is symbolized in the artwork by her hair, merging into the heart that holds the child.I dedicate this piece to my mother, hoping that every mother and child who sees it can feel the depth of the love shared.
