Untitled by Urban Eye

The Golborne House Mural was created by Urban Eye, a London UK based charity renewing neglected parts of the inner city with the local community through imaginative design solutions, creative architectural lighting and public art. Urban Eye organised this particular project in partnership with an EPICS youth all girls group. Its theme was to represent the North Kensington area where the participants live. The artwork combines materials from workshops on colour, texture and pattern as well as photographs taken in the local area. Selected materials were combined into artwork for the murals which were installed in May 2022, two years late due to the pandemic. The completed installation adds a splash of colour and interest to the previously drab walkway near Golborne Road.
