Shuggie Bain by Cobolt Collective

Located in Gibson Street, on the side wall of the Barrowlands.Shuggie Bain was an award winning debut novel from writer Douglas Stuart. Shuggie is a young boy, growing up in 1980’s Glasgow. The Barrowlands are mentioned in the book, so it was fitting that it was painted on their wall. The mural was painted by the Cobolt Collective, and features lines from the end of the book ;You’ll not remember the City, you were too wee, but there’s dancing. All kinds of dancing.
