The Mermaid by Lobster Robin

Painted as part of Hit the North 2022 with HennessyArtist says...Looked into some Irish folklore and mermaids came up a couple of times, so that was an easy choice. I then added some seahorses as this is a symbol that you will see a lot in Belfast. At the same time I like to have some climate awareness. Especially towards the sea as I’ve always been intrigued by oceans. The idea is that the mermaid is worryingly looking up at a burning world above the water. Every being on this planet is impacted by our actions, even if we don’t see them. Some stuff to think about 🧜‍♀️@lobster_robin
