In his own words:“Usually with a wall like this and a free brief, I would fill it end to end and top to bottom with colours and details and try to fit in as much as possible. But for this I decided to leave much more negative space and have a more simple image. I believe doing things out of your comfort zone is important for creative growth. Even if the result isn’t perfect, you will always learn new things or see something from a different perspective.I have been wanting to paint some insects, using the butterfly as a symbol for transformation and the beetle as a sign of strength.
