Chrissy Amphlett by Glen Smith

Street art immortalising the wonderful Chrissy Amphlett. Chrissy was the lead singer for Divinyls, one of Australia’s leading rock bands in the 80s and 90s. She was such a unique and talented rock vocalist, I loved her and their music. Chrissy grew up in Geelong, and was taken far too early in 2013 at the age of 53 after a long battle with breast cancer. This piece is by Glen Smith and is in Dennys Place. The “It’s a fine line” wording is from the Divinyls song Pleasure and Pain, “It’s a fine line between pleasure and pain”.
