Connected to one another, they each contribute something unique to a shared goal: a vibrant Deventer city centre.The eagle, not only because it appears in the Deventer coat of arms, but also as a symbol of vision and leadership.A dove for connection and harmony.And finally, a blackbird for creativity and individuality.The book held by the eagle is not only a nod to Deventer as a city of books, but also to Peter Brouwer, for whom this mural is a gift "for and from the city centre."
