“FAIR WINDS AND DEEP ROOTS” by Caro Pepe

Painted for "Walls can Dance" in Harburg. This mural aims to portrait the heart and soul of those who live by the water - people whose spirits embody the perfect blend of sweet and salt waters. Having lived by a river that flows into the sea, I have experienced firsthand the wonders of the river as an invitation to an endless horizon, one that stirs curiosity and sparks a desire to explore the unknown. Yet, no matter where the journey leads, the sense of “home” remains ever-present in the heart. A delicate balance between the freedom of the sails and the grounding of deep roots.
