He combines close observation of a historic building with a gestural, contemporary visual language. The portrait format and generous expanse of paper reinforce the cathedral’s monumental presence.IEMZA lives and works in Reims. His artistic practice draws, among other influences, on science-fiction films, B-movies and the architecture of large residential developments.
