The mural cleverly incorporates the physical brickwork, blending storytelling with a powerful community message.Commissioned by the Love Wimbledon Business Improvement District (BID) and part-funded by South Western Railway, the piece was painted by the renowned London-based street art crew Graffiti Kings. The project was created to clean up a high-traffic pedestrian walkway, reduce anti-social vandalism, and promote the Wombles' timeless message of environmentalism, recycling, and local civic pride.
