They are all animals that can be hunted in Germany. This mural is a silent protest against hunting for pleasure. By depicting these animals being free and fluffy, I hope to make people in Gelsenkirchen happy, and whoever knows the meaning behind this painting will hopefully start to appreciate alive animals more than 'unalive' ones.
