La torre del reloj by Shozy

created for the NOU Sentit Urbà project, discover all the murals here. Powered by Rebobinart.NOU is a project structured around different artistic disciplines that makes Barcelona and its residents stand out. A melting pot in Nou Barris where creativity gives shape to shared stories, redefining the space by giving it a new urban meaning.Shozy's Clock Tower pays tribute to one of Trinitat Nova's most iconic symbols. Built in 1953 to mark the rhythm of life in the neighborhood, the tower became a symbol of identity until its demolition in 2013, leaving a deep emotional mark on the residents. The work recreates this presence through a poetic and conceptual reinterpretation: empty quadrants, tunnels, and stones symbolize memories and the passage of time, transforming destruction into a gesture of remembrance. Shozy invites us to perceive permanence not in walls, but in the existence and emotional legacy that endures beyond physical space.
