Mural XV Łódzkiej Drużyny Harcerzy «Zielony Płomień» by Rafał Roskowiński

The mural, dedicated to all Scouts, was created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the 15th Łódź Scout Troop “Zielony Płomień” (Green Flame), named after Andrzej Małkowski. The first meeting of Łódź’s “Fifteenth” took place on 15 November 1920. To celebrate this special occasion, a unique mural was created — the first of its kind in Łódź to focus on this subject. The initiative to create the mural came from the Scout Troop itself, and the work was carried out by Rafał Roskowiński, one of Poland’s best-known mural artists. The mural depicts a Scout troop, the Scout Cross, the motto “For God, Poland and Our Fellow Man,” and a green flame — the symbol of the Scout group.
