Aboriginal Mural by Jason Wing, Maddie Gibbs

Encompassing the entire external walls of the Dubbo Aboriginal Land Council, painted with the colours of the Aboriginal flag. Painted with the flag as a base, the building was splashed with fine paint to blend the colours in a subtle manner, and then splashed with silver metallic and gold metallic scenic paint to intensify highlights across the piece.About a week later, a silhouette of a crowd was painted on the southern wall, protesting issues since day 1 of the invasion. Some of the protesting topics include land rights, no more stolen generations, and treaty. The mural was funded by local philanthropist Brett Anderson and family.
