  <title>Billanook College by Melanie Caple</title>
<description>"Dawn light through the ranges: an eastern spinebill, eucalyptus, wattle and colour.I was honoured to be an artist in residence at Billanook College recently, completing two major public mural works and guiding students through a third to shroud their arts building facades. This wall was the first that I completed, celebrating the morning light that glows through leaves in Mooroolbark at that time of day - a moment of quiet before the busyness starts. The silhouettes of an emperor gum moth and white napped honey-eater are also present, and both myself and the students have used these silhouettes to connect the other walls and ground them in place." - Melanie Caple</description>
