Created over three days in March 2025 with the assistance of Makena Brooks, the artwork pays tribute to the landscapes and wildlife that define this Lincolnshire market town.At its heart flows the historic Sleaford Navigation, accompanied by the iconic Money's Mill, two enduring symbols of the town's industrial and cultural past. Bringing the scene to life are a graceful swan and duck splashing across the water, while a Duke of Burgundy butterfly and the delicate dog violet—Lincolnshire's county flower—highlight the importance of local biodiversity. Nature has always been central to Peachzz's work, and here she brings lush colours and wildlife into the urban environment, creating a moment of calm and wonder for everyone passing by.The mural was commissioned following the restoration of the building through the Sleaford Shopfront Grant Scheme and funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund together with the building owner. Warmly embraced by the local community, it reflects the power of public art to foster civic pride, brighten everyday spaces and strengthen the connection between people, place and nature—proving that a mural can leave a community smiling long after the paint has dried.
